He has worked with Forbairt and N.S.A.I. in the setting up and initial operation of the National Legal Metrology Service. In 1999, he designed and delivered the training programme on "E-Marking And The Average Weight System" for the new N.S.A.I. Inspectorate which has National Responsibility for the enforcement of all Pre-Packaged Goods / Average Weight Legislation.
A Registered and Certified Assessor with the Institute of Management U.K and a qualified ISO 9000 Auditor, he is also an Approved Assessor for the European Foundation for Quality Management Business Excellence Model.
As a trainer, he has developed and presented both accredited and customized training programmes in Problem Solving, Continous Improvement, Calibration, Statistical Process Control and Quality Assurance to the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, medical devices and motor components industries since 1992.
